Ruby Tuesday and Happy St. Patrick's Day

Spring has sprung in the greenhouse.

Ruby Tuesday is hosted by Mary the Teach over at Work of the Poet. Stop by and sign up on Mr. Linky to play. Also, today green photos are allowed in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
The shamrocks are growing in a pot on our patio.

  1. I used to have some of those shamrocks in my garden. I had some of the purple ones too! They're so pretty! Happy St. Paddy's Day AS!

  5. Now the garden is an excellent source of both green and red - terrific idea to feature it for Ruby St Paddy's Tuesday! :)

  14. You certainly do have a lot of color growing in your greenhouse! I guess you'll be planting some of that wonderful color soon...I love your shamrock too. It's so delicate and graceful. I have one growing in a small pot on my kitchen counter. I've kept it alive for over 15 years! It is kind of scraggly looking now though. Hope you're having a great day and thanks for visiting my RT post.

  17. That's a beautiful greenhouse. I love that green watering can!

I also wanted to respond to your comment and say that St. Patrick's day is moved from time to time when it coincides with certain events during Holy Week. Most recently, it was moved last year to March 15.

As we both live in the USA, it's not something we really have to worry about since our celebration of the holiday is not exactly for religious reasons, but in Ireland, it's considered to be a Holy Day of Obligation as well as a national holiday.

So yeah, you know, that's my useless knowledge for today.
