Ruby Tuesday

Ruby Tuesday is hosted over at Mary, the Teach's blog, Work of the Poet, and the theme is red in our offices. Stop by and sign the Mr. Linky and to let folks know where you are.

Here are some pictures of red items in my "office". My office is pretty much a multi-task room that used to be a bedroom when all the kids still lived at home.

This is a box of Crayola chalk from some project that was laying on the desk. I have no idea why it is out, but figure someone was looking in the drawer beneath and it just wound up there to remind me of when the kids were little.

The very red Webster's Dictionary in my dictionary section on my desk. I had no idea there was such a vast collection of dictionarys. There is even a Cherokee dictionary from when we vacationed in Tennesee and I was going to get in touch with my "roots".

  2. Nice and relevant shots. Why do numerous dictionaries have some red?

  3. I think you've made a good choice picking out just a selected number of items from your home office.
Somehow I always try doing to much, and that's not a good idea.
    Less is more.
    Nice meeting you.

  4. Good shots!

Thanks for visiting... my RT post died the death of the "forever upload" and the "where was that photo?" and the "it is 2 am and I have to go to bed"

    -sigh-

  6. Wow. I haven't seen actual chalk in... I don't even remember how long! I didn't even know they still made it. Brings back vague memories of thwacking those long erasers across somebody's butt... or being thwacked.

  8. I haven't seen chalk for a long long time! We are using marker pens on white board in school these days.

I too have many dictionaries and in different languages because I teach foreign students. :)

  16. Once upon a time I had an office... but it kept becoming other things "too"... and I didn't have a window in it! Now my "office" is the living room and I have a huge window right in front of my desk! I like it here! I'm going to stay! However... I don't have much red anymore!

I like that box of chalk! It speaks endless possibilities to me!

  17. I once participated in a meme where you had to take pictures of your bookshelves and talk about some of the titles pictured. It was fun.

Happy RT and thanks for stopping by my blog!
