Breaking News...something else to make me go hmmm

This just in a little while ago....Women who took estrogen and progestin are more likely to die if they get lung cancer from smoking in the past. My question is....DOESN'T EVERYONE die from oat cell carcinoma?? I haven't heard any happy stories on that front ever.

Here is the link to the story

Melli-Got the dusting done and I'm so glad you looked at that knitting page. That just stunned me. Yard stick size needles would really be unwieldy for me. The yarn ball was enormous!

Anil P-So glad to see you and I will try to get a slideshow made tonight or tomorrow.

Maribeth-You've had you puppy kids to deal with lately. Hands full!

NW1-I'm thinking about having to get someone to help me with the tasks around here. I've found someone to help my mother in law and I may ask her to come to my home, too.

Quilly-already told you I'm on my way to Hawaii to dust your house!

  1. Well, it's a sure bet we're all gonna die of something.

And what time is your plane landing? I want to have the house mostly clean so all you have to do is flap the dust rag around a bit before we make a run for the beach! ;)

  2. I'm so ready to run off to the islands...you just don't know how much. It will get better, and espcially with friends like you to kid with.

I'm thinking which bathing suit to bring now....hmmm ;o)

  3. Quite true and now my laptop has blown again! What did I do in my previous life to deserve all the calamities this year?

  4. Well... that's not even NEW news anyway all the way around! They were talking about women being at greater risk of dieing from cancer (period) if they used the pill waaaaaaaaay back when I was on it! You know... the media just drives me nuts...

I hope you are feeling GREAT today! Cuz tomorrow is Monday again...

  5. I think I will quit reading all these posts about cancer since I already have an encounter with the subject.

Now I have something called hyperparathyroidism to contend with. Just saying is a struggle.

I would like to have a cook and robotic duster. I have two robotic vacuums--real labor savers.

Looking forward to three days in Little Rock w/some shopping which is always good for what ails me. :)

  6. Quitting smoking is the MOST important decision you'll ever make in your life, for you and your loved ones. It is better to start Now, because the longer you stay on it, the more damage it will do to your body.

  7. No Tobacco....your site is an ad, but I'm going to allow you to stay, because I feel the same way.
I quit over 2 years ago and am so glad of it.
